SINWU TOWNSHIP OFFICE-The Words of Township Chief

Dear Fellow Townsmen:

I hope you are doing well. I, Tong-zhi, am privileged to have the opportunity to serve Shiwu Township as Township Chief the Sixteenth. Thanks for the wonderful support from my fellow townsmen. It is my honor to continue my duty. I will, as always, continue to demonstrate my devotions to my hometown and govern, giving priority to the benefits of my townsmen and the future development of Sinwu Township.

Sinwu is an agricultural township, a land of fish and rice, having a variety of farm produces and fisheries and their considerable production quantities. In the time of free trade, foreign agricultural products flood in, causing the crisis for domestic agriculture and making no return for the fellow townsmen's hard-earned savings. To cope with the trends in a new era, the development of the sophisticated Leisure-Agriculture is the only way out of this difficult situation.

Recreation farms, Lotus Garden, Flower Leisure Park and other sophisticated agricultural sites have already yielded positive results for Sinwu. Opening No. 66 Expressway's, utilizing the geographical uniqueness, combining Fan-Jiang's Old Houses, Yong-an Fishery Harbor, Yong-an Guanhai Bridge and Recreational Farms, help us create a humane, cultural tourism and leisure with a intellectual depth. How to attract the crowds of tourists to our place is our future goal.

In all previous township chief administrations, the achievements were reached. I, Tong-zhi, will follow predecessors’ steps to stride forward in order to further the developments. In the next four years, I'll strive for more budget for construction at every level of higher authorities in order to build roads to every scenic spot and ancillary facilities, to make Sinwu Township a famous tourism attraction nation-wide.
